Three hotspots in Paris

Anne Christine Persson, Monday 4 April 2016

Audrey Hepburn once said in the role of Sabrina, ”Paris is always a good idea” and she was absolutely spot on! I will never tire of this city, which continues to be among my favourites. Here are three amazing places that you will have to visit on your next trip.

1. La Belle Epoque

This great restaurant has been the talk of the town for the last few months and it was packed during Paris Fashion Week and you would be sure to see a couple of familiar faces. The atmosphere is lively and an evening will be off to a good start at this place. 36, rue des Petits Champs

2. Piscine Molitor

What is not to love about an art deco swimming pool – or two actually – in Paris? Designed to look like an ocean liner the building from 1929 was left unused in 1989 until a hotel renovated and reopened it last year and maintained both the indoor winter pool and the outdoor summer pool. With summer coming up stop by with a bikini or a pair of swimming trunks and spend the day or stay a few nights at the hotel and start the day with a swim. 13, rue Nungesser et Coli

3. Hotel Grand Amour

The latest opening from André Saraiva, a man of many talents, is Hotel Grand Amour in a historic pre-Haussmannian building in the 10th arrondissement. You immediately feel at home, you can cosy up by the fireplace in the lounge, have dinner and/or drinks at the restaurant or explore the winter gardens and its inhabitants. For a true Parisian getaway try booking the apartment. 18, Rue de la Fidélité
